Listen now | Annie’s out of town this week, but worry not: friend of the pod, comedy writer and tinned-fish evangelist Caroline Goldfarb joins Nick to explain the cult cookie-to-cosmetics pipeline, her current beauty faves, and more.
I saw the Beauty Broker for a surgeon rec for my rhinoplasty and she was SO helpful. I had a revision rhinoplasty (first one, and it's minor revision, shifted after 10 years due to them taking out too much cartilage).
I went to Dr. Roostaeian at UCLA last year. He's great for revisions and "ethnic" nose jobs (I'm Jewish). He let me keep the "bump" on my bridge, though it was reduced from my first nose job.
"open" nose jobs are what most surgeons do now. My first two 12 years ago were closed and by a very old man who is now retired. This time it was open and I only had the tiniest incision on my septum and the scar is basically gone now a year out.
The in-between pic I generally look less good as I was underweight from adderall lol, also maybe narrower camera angle
I sort of regret getting my first one because even though my husband calls my nose job(s) "a work of genius" (lol), it was actually fine before, and insurance doesn't cover rhinoplasty like it used to so even though it helped cover some with this third one it cost over $25K out of pocket.
I'm probably more "hot" now but idk if it was worth it!
Caroline! I miss glowing up so much! When I’m emotional I replay clay hawkins eps!
<3 <3 <3
Omg same! Clay was such a good edition to round out the last season. Bring back the three brunette turtles
So excited to listen to this OMG
Yoooo super impressed with the recording schedule! You are more productive than 95% of us this week
Thank you for seeing us!!
As much as I miss Annie, I loved Caroline! Lol keeping us grounded (this isn’t Violet Grey 🤣!!). The holiday episode we all didn’t know we needed.
Sending love from Amsterdam, Netherlands, a Glowmie alumni & FB group member 💌
The most you'll spend is like $25-30k! I loved mine and it was $20k in NYC in 2019. Life changing and I kept the character.
Inflation, though!!!
Also the recovery was nothing!!! Note this was a "closed" rhino. Super chill recovery I was feeling so prey after 2 weeks lol
Carolineeeeeee! The glowmies miss you 💕 Love you and Fishwife

Here's a before and after, and a before-before.
